The Master of Public Health with a specialty in International Health from Ponce Health Sciences University is a unique program in Puerto Rico, designed to train health professionals with the ability to make decisions based on international regulations and standards in times of health crisis. It is focused on international health interaction, which requires understanding of the actions between two or more countries. This program has a total of 55 credits and is taught virtually. Furthermore, its structure allows it to be completed in a period of two years.
The Master in Public Health International are in process in obtaining the accreditation by the Council of Education on Public Health (CEPH).

We have the Language Support Program (LSP) and it is free of cost. This program is unique to PHSU and supports students seeking to strengthen language skills in both English and Spanish. Mentoring is carried out individually according to the needs of the student.
Master in Public Health with a Specialty in International Health
They must complete an applied practical experience during
the summer of the first year.
They will have a comprehensive learning experience
in the third quarter of the second year.

Admission Requirements
In evaluating candidates, emphasis is placed on integrity, character, academic achievements, motivation, emotional stability, evidence of healthcare-related experience, interview reports, letters of recommendation, and other information that should be provided by the applicant.
The candidate must:
- Have a Baccalaureate from an accredited institution in Puerto Rico or the United States or a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from your country of origin. - GPA of 2.75 or higher.
The applicant must present the following documents:
- Official credit transcript with conferred degree.
- Two letters of recommendation: preferably from teachers.
- Criminal record certificate or its equivalent in your country of residence
- Admission application fee: $90 USD
